Celebrating Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

...how do you celebrate it?

We enjoy going to the home of my husband's aunt.  She's been hosting Thanksgiving dinner for years...decades, really.  And, this is where we will be spending Thanksgiving this year.

But, I do realize that some of you are without family.  Either through death, distance, or exclusion.  I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you, my friend.  I want you to know that you are not alone.  So many feel alone, even when they are surrounded by others, during the holidays.  There is this sense that family togetherness should occur because it's a holiday.  But what if that can't happen? ...or won't?
You can create your own version of Thanksgiving.  Make it yours.  Go out and have a fabulous dinner at a restaurant.  Invite friends or loved ones over to partake in a feast...or takeout pizza, whatever.  Make it yours.  Own it, create it, make it happen, and grow it.  Create your own holiday, create your own happiness.
