Anti-Inflammatory Recipe of the Week

In September of 2015, I started Dr. Weil's Anti-Inflammatory Diet after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis.  I share a new recipe each week to help those who may need to modify their eating habits to better their health.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Cinnamon, Butternut Squash and Pecans

It's turning to fall and this is one of my favorites to make for family gatherings this time of the year.  
I do modify it and I'll explain that below.

My modifications - I don't use the maple syrup on the butternut squash and I half the maple syrup in the pecan and cranberry mix-in part.  I also use real maple syrup.  To be honest, I think that the cranberries and butternut squash is sweet enough without all of the added syrup.  It's nice to have a little to coat, so play it by ear and see what works for you.  

Now, go forth, and eat great food.  Your dietary limitations should not limit you from enjoying great food.
